Overview
In IBCC, we would be hosting a competition that would consist of 2 main rounds. This event would be open to all the schools in India. The first round would consist of the person/group making a 5-minute presentation regarding a case study that we would provide. Over the time period, we would also be conducting many sessions which would teach the applicants the basics of consultancy, the importance of it, and examples of consultancy used in real-life scenarios, especially in businesses. After the results have come out of the first round, we would be selecting the top 5 person/group for the final round; in which the applicants would be given a live prompt on a situation a real business is facing that is not found online and they would have to make a 15-minute presentation on a solution to the problem. The final round will be a huge online conference which would also have many host speakers talking about consultancy. The winner of the final round would get a price reward of 10,000 INR. The runner-up would also be getting awards.
Timeline
Applications open
Application deadline: 9th April
Applicants would have to fill in a form by 9th April 2023 free of charge. Any applications past this deadline would not be accepted.
Round 1 Deadline: 14th May
The first round is the elimination round. The applicants have to make a video of a presentation regarding a case study that would be provided. The video must not exceed the length 5 minutes; if so the video would not be graded. This video must be submitted on a google form. Applicants are requested to have a look at the example case study and example presentation along with the marks provided. The applicants may also view the rubric which would be used to grade the video. Please note that the applicants have to submit their videos by 14th May 2023. If they are unable to do so they would be disqualified from the competition. The top 5 applicants from round 1 would move on to round 2.
Round 2 and prize ceremony: 16th July
The second round is the final round. This would be a large online event where the applicants would be invited to an online forum and they would be provided with a real-life business scenario in which the applicants would have 2 hours in a breakout room to make a 15 minutes presentation which they would be making in front of judges. This event would go on after everyone have finished their presentation as there would be many guest speakers. Finally, there would be an award ceremony. the first place winners would win a 10,000 INR price; the runner-ups would also be awarded. Everyone even the participants of round 1, would get a participation certificate from IBCC.
